Booking your IELTS test with British Council is quick, simple and secure, and the process is the same for all IELTS tests. Visit our IELTS registration page and follow these steps:
Select IELTS on computer, IELTS on paper* or IELTS Online* (*if available).
Select your country and city, then choose a date from the calendar.
Enter your email to create your profile, then follow the prompts to book.

Log in to the Test Taker Portal to edit your details before the test. You won't be able to make changes after you have taken the test.
Yes. If you need a modified version of the IELTS test, you must provide medical evidence six weeks before your test. Your medical report should be written in English by a medical professional and dated no more than two years before your test date.
