Hunan Institute of Engineering

Hunan Institute of Engineering is located in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, the hometown of Mao Zedong, a great man of a generation. Hunan Institute of Engineering was founded in June 2000 by the former Xiangtan Mechanical and Electrical College (founded in 1951, under the former Ministry of Machinery Industry, and is a national demonstration key construction school for higher engineering colleges), Hunan Textile College (founded In 1978, it was formed by the merger of the former Hunan Textile Industry Department. From 1958 to 1963, the predecessor of Xiangtan Electromechanical College, "Xiangtan Electrical Engineering College", had five years of undergraduate education.
